Summary: Everything fine on Windows 7 x 32. When I changed to Windows 7 x 64, nothing but problems with the Logitech software. Using the Logitech software, I was unable to capture to the hard disk. After researching online, I found it was a common problem with WIN7x64. I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling the latest with the same results. The logitech software is also hideously unfriendly.
Summary: They advertise it as working with mac osx, but the software and drivers there suck. I've had nothing but problems with this on my 2010 snow leopard imac. The software is missing features compared to the windows version, and it's buggy. It crashes frequently. Sometimes I'll record a video and when it goes to render it stops after the first 20 seconds and even if it's a 10 minute video, the rest is just lost.
Summary: After reading all the reviews I decided to pick this camera up for streaming purposes. After configuring it for awhile i notice one big issue with its video quality. The video always has white static in the background constantly when shooting video. The overall video quality is good however the white noise that you see in the background makes the video just about unusable. I cannot record high quality video or stream high quality video because of this problem.
Summary: Be carefull, this camera is NOT as good as the show you. If you're planning to do some live stream at 720p, dont get too excited, camera's performance gets SLOOOOOOOWWWWWW as hell. Also, in 1080p mode for recording, is just as slow. I got it in Black Friday at 45 bucks, so.... it's ok. But trust me, you should try another webcam, this one just doesn't fill your expectation.
Summary: I bought this webcam because its a famous brand and ive heard good feebacks about this specific model. at first i thought the cam was great, the colors are pretty good actually and not many webcams have zoom, which is nice. but the main problem is it gets blurry when you zoom in,even just a little bit! that is very frustrating!
Summary: The quality of this webcam is fantastic, however the software is terrible in my opinion. Every time I'm taking photos or videos with the webcam, the software freezes. I have to constantly close it and start over again. Also, doesn't have the easy mobility the Logitech 9000 had. It's harder to position and get to stay secured to the top of my laptop. It's still worth it for the quality, but I just absolutely loathe the software.
Summary: The hard drive had to be restored to original format with the help of a friend, because of the problems that I had with this. I lost some valuable time. I now have no use for the product. The Logitech Webcam has been cast aside as useless and I am kicking myself for inviting this technical disasterThis product was not functional with my computer which is running Windows XP. There was not enough RAM since it requires aprox. 400 mb of ram.
Summary: Very nice design. Sharp picture in wide screen. Color very good. Only negative is for me. I have a Macintosh. All of the nice software functions support for this camera is PC only. I use it to connect with other Mac users and they all say the quality of the picture is great, but knowing there is no software support, they are discounting it as a use for them. Had I known the limitations with software, I would have looked at other products.
Summary: This product is maybe more than I needed. There are constant problems with people I want to vid chat with not hearing me or not hearing them - and I have removed and downloaded the program 10 times in a month to "reboot" it. It's frustrating. The online support, in a word, sucks. The FAQ's are grossly incomplete, evasive and vague.
