Mine is junk
Sasha S., Newegg
4 April 2015
Summary: If others have found a work-around to the horrible picture, I welcome advice before I ship this back.
Cons: Absolutely useless in low light, not much better in natural light. Image noise is unbearable, out of focus with no way to manually adjust. Have uninstalled all software and performed clean installs to no avail. Turned off "right light" and that didn't help. I'm using Windows 7, i5, 16Gigs RAM so ...
Cons: This device crashes my computers just like the other Logitech cams I’ve purchased that never worked. Microphone-in is completely nonfunctional after 10-11 months (go figure, 1 year warranty). Haven't had time to cal...
Excerpt: I HAVE 2 PROBLEMS WITH THIS DEVICE; THIS WEBCAM VERSION WILL ONLY DISPLAY A 4 BY 6 IMAGE, NOT FULL SCREEN AND 2 MY COMPUTER WILL NOT REBOOT WITH THIS DEVICE INSERTED, IN OTHER WORDS, I HAVE TO REMOVE THE DEVICE FROM THE USB PORT
Summary: I was very happy with it when it worked. BUT: My first camera died within 30 days. So, returned it and got another one. Big mistake! The second one died after 40 days. Now, I have to deal with the warranty.
