Summary: This is a very compact webcam. The video quality is great, and so is the audio quality.... well, most of the time. At some points it records audio as if it were a professional microphone, and at others the audio level drops and rises like it has no idea what it's doing. Now, this could actually be a problem with the recording software, and not the webcam, but I'm not sure. So do some research before you buy this.
Summary: My criteria for my current webcam were: 720p Autofocus Mic This one fit the bill at the right price. It's performed as well as my previous Logitechs, but the picture is way better. I use it as an interactive device and the response time is much better than my older webcam. The autofocus works well enough for the price, occasionally momentarily adjusting out of focus when it was already focused. But it's still way more convenient than dealing with manual focus.
Summary: This tiny camera is perfect. I have relatives overseas, and with this camera and my Skype program, all I do is dial, and poof, just like Dr. Spock's transmitter, we can see each other - oh yes, they have to have a camera too!
Summary: Extremely high quality picture. I went through two cameras before using this one for Skype, and the person I was chatting with couldn't exclaim enough on how much clearer the picture was. I don't use the built-in microphone (I have a Sennheiser headset), but it seemed to be good quality when tested. The only minor annoyance is that sometimes on Skype, the Logitech Webcam software window pops up on the screen for no apparent reason. Still, the camera is excellent.
Summary: Works well with my computer. I installed it with Windows 7 and recently I upgraded to Windows 8 and it still works great with good picture and sound quality on Skype. Good item if you need a Webcam.
Summary: This is a good little camera for the money. I wouldn't expect portrait quality from a camera in this price range, but for the Skyping we do, it's great. Have had no problems and it's easy to install and use.
