Summary: The camera itself, great, quality and everything, works just fine. But when i take a video, every once in a while it just leaves a white thumbnail with the Logitech logo on there and i can't access the video whatever i do.
Excerpt: For being a non-techy person, it installed fine. Bought it to Skype with my son and my roommate's daughter - he is tutoring her, but can't get the Skype to work. So, now I have a webcam and don't know what to do with it. It will cost somewhere around $150 for someone to come out and figure out why the Skype doesn't work.
Very good HD webcam from Logitech, easy to use and carry on...

Summary: Logitech has its fair share HD webcams to offer and C615 model would be a great medium between HD video, its features and portability. The C615 features full 1080p video recording producing excellent picture quality, using Logitech's Fluid Crystal Technology in process, although users should know they need system which can support 1080p for the best quality. Users with slower/older systems will find out that the resolution can be dropped to 720p, 480p or lower.
Excerpt: This web cam has very good quality video, both close up and at a distance, the audio is great for video messaging. I sometimes record quick small guitar video clips, and the audio seems to have an effect added to it that is a little unpleasant in my application, so I decided to use an external microphone instead of the microphone built into the camera. Overall a good value.
Summary: I use the cam on windows 7 PC/ 8 gigs of ram. The cam produces good quality pics and video when it is not locking up. It seems that if the cam application runs more then 5 mins with out turning the cam on, it locks up, and you can't close the app. without using task manager. Other wise, I like my purchase and would buy again.
Summary: I really love the quality, this was my first webcam, but you have to be careful. Mine broke and computer couldn't recognize it through the USB and i found out the wire on the back connecting to the camera was very loose and that's what was causing the connection problem. If you use this camera its GREAT quality and wonderful for video chat such as Skype and just taking pictures for good times.
Nice Camera; just wish it wasn't broken in shipment.

Summary: Good camera and software that works with Windows7. Don't expect 1080p video resolution; the software isn't there to handle it. It works fine at 720 and the video is good. The camera was shipped in the same box with a 10lb steel clamping kit. Needless to say the steel clamping kit won. The holding bracket on the camera was broken, but with a little glue and tape its holding on to the top of the monitor.
Summary: I'm running a custom-built Asus P8Z68-V dual screen running 64-bit Windows 7 which was set up for photography and video editing. The install for the C615 required download since only Windows 8 is supported on the disc. I have never had an install problem with any software before until the installation of the Logitech C615 and I have over 100 gig of programs alone installed on SSD. The install for the C615 failed 4 times in a row.
