Summary: Works fine with Skype but will not autofocus with FaceTime on a 2012 mac mini running 10.9.1. FaceTime and QuickTime cannot therefore use it. Microphone is fine with all apps. Logitech doesn't seem very interested in providing drivers, and the Mac UVC driver is obviously limited.
Glitch makes it unusable with a newer Mac (10.6.8)

Summary: This was the first webcam that showed up when I google searched for webcams that work with Macs. Video quality looks nice and all, but there is a glitch in the software that makes the video stop recording at random times, thinking that my hard disk is full when it is not at all.
Excerpt: Video was clear, much better than built=in laptop camera. Audio was unintelligible, with severe echo. Ended up shutting off audio completey, using camera for video only and using cell phone for audio. Expected more for close to $80. Easy to use and can be easily plug and played between computers.
Pros: Easy to use, Removable, Versatile, Video Quality
Summary: I had HIGH expectations for this Logitech C615., and really it does not deliver the 1080p impact. After it compresses the 1080p recording I have no better than 720p. The color saturation is not as good as I expected either.
Summary: I've purchased many Logitech products over the years and never been disappointed. This is a decent product, but it's advertised as Mac or PC. The reality is that all the more useful features are PC only - something you don't discover till you install it and try to use those features.
