Cons: The video doesn't seem to work with anything besides the metro Camera app on windows 8. I've installed every possible driver for it - still no luck. The mic works but the video only works with the camera app for windows. No skypeee for me :(

Summary: My webcam arrived in a plastic bag inside a padded mailer envelope with no box, documentation, CD, anything other than the camera and the extension USB cable. I haven't managed to get it up and running yet. Furthermore, I don't believe it was truly "new" even though it was described as such, I see scuff marks on the front part of the camera. buyers beware!
Summary: The OS X driver for this cam is very basic. Unlike the Windows driver, you cannot do things like override the auto-exposure/auto-brightness functions. In situations with uneven light, this results in a strobing effect, as the AE continuously tries to adjust. I bought the third party driver called "Webcam Settings" in the Mac App Store. It allows you to disable AE. But really, shouldn't Logitech's own drivers do this?
Summary: I am using a windows 7 Core i7 processor with 8gb ram. I also have skype installed. When I installed the logitech software without the Logitech Vid HD, it seemed to function fine. In the next 2 days my computer crashed 4 times. I removed the Logitech software and installed only the basic drivers. It now works fine with Skype and NO MORE CRASHES. I would have liked to use some of the advanced webcam features, which is now not possible.
Summary: I am very annoyed I have gone to great lengths to send you a considered appraisal of your product and the problems That have arisen . I then find out there is a problem and I have to start all over again. I still can not use Your product but believe it is not the webcam that is faulty, but you gave me a link to instal the driver. This did not work and I believe I should have been supplied with a cd to download the driver.
Summary: This was my first webcam and I was really impressed with the picture quality but it kept crashing my Windows 7 which is otherwise stable. I read that some others had the same problem and wonder if there is a known fix?
Summary: Bought this after searching online for suitable webcams for Mac OS X and before I purchased I double checked on Logitech's own website to check if they provided drivers and software to go with the camera, which they did, and as far as I could tell this was the only one for which they did supply drivers and software. After the webcam arrived I downloaded and installed the software/driver (lws220.dgm) file.
Summary: The problem with logitech cameras is there are too many and they perform so differently. This camera provides a good picture but it did not like working with Windows 8. The usb lead was rediculously short; that said, an extension lead was included but even that is short - and now there is a usb join right where I do not want one.
