Excerpt: Essentially a nice little camera. Has very good resolution and a few really nice options. BUT, when I use the camera with Skype, at the end of the call, it freezes the image and I have to do a hard resart to regain the computer. I have no such trouble when shooting "snapshots". I have to call tech support ant Staples to look for a rememdy. Otherwise I'll return it to Staples.
Summary: This camera had beautiful quality and a decent built in mic, not to mention it looked great in my videos. Then after about two days of recording video, it gave my gaming PC the blue screen of death. After fixing my computer I didn't make the same mistake and plug it back in, however, I tried it on another PC and had the same result. Concluding the repair of both computers and cleaning up the camera and re-boxing it, I came to realize my 30 day return policy had expired.

Summary: To be short, a lot of people apparently have trouble with the webcam software. The software gives a message that you system is below specification, even when it is clearly not. Their support staff have NO IDEA what is causing this for anyone, and the farthest back i could find the issue was 2011. This means that the feature this webcam is supposed to offer that similar cameras do not come with is useless to me.
Summary: -have windows 7 Pro 64-bit -connected it to USB 3.0 -pic constantly flickers no matter what program it's using -troubleshoot every setting available in the software that came with this camera and still same flickering -cannot use this camera with a constant flickering on the screen -found many ppl in forums and chats also had the same problem -still looking for a solution I put more than a year as length of product use because I'm a tech and have used Logitech products...
Summary: Love the size and image quality produced by this little webcam. But it took me hours to install. I tried installing both the drivers and software from the install disc, and updated versions downloaded from the website. Both versions caused blue-screen-of-death fatal crashes on my PC with a fresh Windows 7 Pro 64-bit install. Had to reformat the drive in order to get rid of the drivers, as uninstalling didn't work.
