Summary: Old-school, but works well for general purposes. Software is very useful for editing. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Summary: I didn't really need it to work on my Mac, as I was set to use it on my PC laptop with Windows 7. To use for Skype calls. I tried it on my Mac just for laughs and found it worked quite well Mac OSX 10.7.5 on all the video programs requiring a cam. So it has moved to my Mac for use. The video is as advertised. Hopefully they keep the drivers up with Apples system upgrades as the didn't keep them up with my older Cam from them.
Summary: I love the quality- especially for the price. It's very nice, considering this is my first webcam I can say that this is a pretty good one.(I've seen some bad ones haha!) The only reason why I marked it down a star is because it took so long for me to figure out how to download it onto my PC. I got the software on it in a jiffy, but it's just making the PC recognize the actual device is a little work. Other than that, love it!
Summary: Using this webcam for landscape timelapse is only semi recommended. The webcam does a good job keeping the white balance steady most of the time, but will occassionally blow the image out completely for a couple frames. As a normal webcam, this product probably will work just fine.
Summary: I'm sort of new to the whole webcam experience so, for me, I like it. It does the job. The quality is -meh- okay. Not good for detailed tutorials or anything, but good for video chatting. It does adjust light and focus really well, and the software is easy to install. There is a bit of a knack to mounting this thing on a laptop screen, but once it's adjusted properly it won't move(unless you move your laptop). So far, I'm satisfied.
Summary: I needed a webcam because my ISight camera stopped working on my Mac laptop and the reviews for this one said it worked with a Mac. When I got it, I plugged it and into the Mac but nothing happened, the laptop didn't seem to recognize it. I figured I needed a driver and the disc that came with the camera only had Windows drivers. After searching online, I couldn't find a Mac driver for this model of the webcam and I was about to return it.
Summary: Since we'll be moving once we retire we wanted to be able to stay in touch visually with our grandchildren. So I bought four cameras ... one for my wife and myself and one each for my kids. They set up easily in Windows XP and worked with Skype without a hitch. Resolution and sound were about what I expected from a moderately priced camera. If the light isn't just right, there are dark and light spots, but it's obvious who you're seeing. The sound is more than adequate.
Summary: I've been using the Logitech Pro 9000 and was curious to see how this new mid-range cam would stack up against it. After running some tests, I would say that the cam is better than average, but not in the same league as the Pro 9000. The resolution and color rendition are just not as good. If you're interested in paying a little less and don't need the best, then this cam may be for you. Logitech Vid looks interesting, but I was unable to get it to work.
