Summary: The C200 is inexpensive and is easy to install. However, those who have experienced the higher end Logitech webcams will be disappointed with the lack of automatic focus and the resulting marginal picture. Its hard to find the sweet spot to get an image that appears to be in focus.
Summary: This webcam may work for both Mac and PC, but I would not recommend it for use with a Mac. Logitech does not seem to support any advanced features for this cam. There are no software downloads for Mac that are available for PC. I am using this cam for looking outside to post to an internet site, and the quality just isn't there. I know that it does not have a high resolution, but that was not required for looking outside.
Summary: I had a problem getting this webcam to attach to my monitor. The top of my monitor is slim, and the webcam attachment is wide. It is sort of 'perching' now, but not very stable. I wish there was some warning that this might not fit all monitors, especially the new flat ones. Otherwise it seems okay, but this is my first one, so I have nothing to judge against.
Summary: I just wanted a cheap webcam to connect via Skype to see my new grandson. This seemed to fit the bill. The installation went okay but the video was all distorted with vertical waves and ghosting of my image. I tried all the webcam settings in the software with no luck. I also did a software update at Logitech. No joy.
Summary: I use the webcam for AIM. Video quality is decent, not great. The software installed pretty easily. I had to uninstall the software and choose a custom install because the Logitech software installed way too much stuff I don't use.
Summary: I am not too impressed with this webcam. I am constantly having to re load the software. I often have no picture or sound. My parents got the same camera and they have the same problems. I can only assume there is a problem with the software.
Summary: shooting videos are easy. but sharing them is a hassle. it is a .wpl file and most programs do not support this. video calling from the webcam is not available unless the receiving person has logitech equipment and account. the updates are too constant. the images are adjustable but not the clearest or sharpest even with adjusting menu. finding the right applications for your built-in microphone will be problematic, but will prove professional once in use.
Summary: I must admit I was looking for a web cam to use with Linux and to be honest there aren't many. I thought after reading the reviews and checking out the Linux repositories that this web cam would work, but it only works so-so. If you have Linux, which I love, then there are few web cams to choose from that work 100%.

Pros: Inexpensive, many features
Cons: Picture and sound quality fairly poor, picture prone to stalling
