Summary: I haven't used this much, but it was easy to set up and has a pretty decent picture, depending on the lighting. You have to focus it by hand with the ring on the lens, but it's not that hard. The zoom feature is really nice, too.
Summary: Very pleased with the web cam and it's easy to install. Complete instructions come with it and the novice should be able to set it up, no problem! Although I have set up my Skype account, I have yet to make that first call! I'm happy with the camera and you can't beat the price!
Summary: As a mac user I was happy to find a reasonably priced web cam. The picture is not great, but it does the job. Also note, before you attempt to install it, try just plugging it in and turning on SKYPE. Voila! It works.
Summary: this is a great web cam, with great picture quality, note the video is uncompressed by default, which means you will be using about 12 megabytes of hard drive space for each second of video, nearly the maximum write speed, that fairly new computers, can handle. They do have the option of selecting and configuring any available third party video codecs you may have, which greatly reduce filesize of the video file.
Summary: I was very pleased with my purchase. However, the first time I attempted to buy this item I bought it through another supplier using Amazon, instead of buying it from Amazon and Amazon alone. I went more than 14 days without word until I received an email that my money would be refunded and that they were out of stock. After a lot of time and confusion, I decided to just buy from Amazon and they made my buying experience far more enjoyable.
Summary: Got this camera for my mom to use with her mac mini. It is recognized for skype and iChat on snow leopard with no drivers or other software. Picture quality is quite good - perhaps better than the internal iSight on my MacBook. Great price on a very decent camera.
Summary: Install was a breeze. Windows Vista/7 recognized it and installed basic driver. You can install more from the CD or the web site. I recommend to update the firmware to prevent aufocus "pumping" problem.
