Summary: The resolution is half what it says it is. On the packaging there was an asterisk next to the 1,3 megapixels, but nowhere on the box did it say what it meant. Looking it up at home I found it meant that you can resize the images to 1,3 megapixels. Of course you can resize it to anything, so this is a total fraud. The webcam has two speakers, on both of which it's impossible to make out a single word.
Summary: I didn't have trouble installing this product, as I followed the instructions and installed the drivers first before connecting. While it took a while, I didn't test this product for very long before I realized this was not what I had expected. Other reviewers have claimed that the image quality is good, so I had assumed it would be so. However, I looked at the image quality after installation, which was incredibly blurry.
Summary: This webcam is so easy to use, I bought one for my elderly father after buying one for myself. It automatically integrates into Skype, and it has a manual focus ring. The built-in LED lights are handy when there is no ambient light (they can be set to on, off, or auto). The built-in microphone is very sensitive, which is good, but be sure to turn down the microphone volume when using it in a noisy environment.
Summary: This webcam works very well in low light or bright light. Works so well in low light I never need the LEDs that came with it. Software included makes it easy to turn lights off or on again. My only problem with this thing is the mounting. The clip is sturdy enough but only opens to about 3/4" wide which will not clamp onto my "thin" monitor. Might work well for a laptop though. Then I tried using the double-stick foam tape included but it doesn't stick very well at all.
