Summary: You get what you pay for. The pics are a bit fuzzy, but it is a heck of a deal for 2 dollars. It is great for project development. I bought it to test camera software, then once the software was completed, I bought a better camera.
Summary: For $5 this camera is working great. I use it with skype and linuxmint 17 64 bit xfce and 17 cinnamon 32bit and I didn't need to load any drivers. I have also used it with windows 7 and 8 and I did need to load the drivers that came with it.
Summary: I purchased mine a BigLots for $10. It installed easy a simple plug and play really. While it performs all its functions, it does a half decent job at it. Video is grain only 1.3M so what can you expect. The only real compliant is with the Microphone, used it many times to hold a conversation with and no matter what what its very muffled, and unclear. My advice is, go with another brand, Gear Head makes so-so products.
