Great cam

Brian H., Newegg
6 December 2012
  • Summary: have not used the cam mic. Have had other cams including creatives cams. Creative is good for their speakers, but not their cams.
  • Pros: Have had no problem with my cam. Works really well in windows 7 both 32bit and 64. Also works really well with yahoo.
  • Cons: None so far.

Nice and Cheap

John D., Newegg
8 June 2012
  • Summary: What do you expect for under $15? LED's are a nice touch and adjustable, but a mistranslation in some adverts----NOT night-vision (I was aware of this and purchased for the extra lighting)
  • Pros: For a cheap skypecam, can't be beat. Mic is adequate, but not spectacular.
  • Cons: Not going to be used for any great pics or video.

Not so great with a laptop.

A customer, Rakuten
21 December 2010
  • Summary: Okay, so maybe I just use my laptop the wrong way. I sit on my couch with my laptop on my lap. Okay, my fault again for being cheap and buying a laptop without a built-in webcam. I can see how this one would work well as a desktop cam, but it's not so great to try to use for my purposes in my living...

easy to set up - good quality

Andrey, Rakuten
20 September 2010
  • Summary: Nice Web Cam for the money. If it would have a self adjusting sensor based LED light on and off would be great - other wise you have to do it manually with little wheel on the back of the cam - thus moving CAM from it's tuned up position - not convenient.
