Poor quality, missing information, even worse support

Summary: If you are looking at the Foscam line of cameras, you have found the only one that does not have the ability to turn the IR on and off from the web based control panel. This goes for the camera settings itself as well as the viewer. This design flaw is not mentioned anywhere on the manufacturer's website nor any other site that is based upon the same content.
Summary: I have two Foscam pan-tilt cameras, and I wanted to add a camera that was fixed on the front porch. This satisfied the need. Setup was very easy, considering I had experience from setting up the previous cameras.
Summary: night vision: check works: check great price: check i'd give it 6 stars if somehow they would work through a window too. i know night vision can't work through windows so it's absolutely no fault to Foscam :)
Summary: After having two of the bigger Foscam cameras work fine in their applications, I thought this would be good for an application where I wanted smaller. Wrong! Even though I have the other two Foscam cameras all set up and working wirelessly, I cannot for the life of me get this one to go wireless. The only reason I haven't returned it is because I can use it where I want it with a cord, so I am just keeping it.
Summary: It seemed to work good for a few hours with my desktop (windows 8) then would not connect. The android app could not find or connect no matter how hard I tried .for me it is a one star but that's not saying others do not have good luck with this.
Summary: I have four of the FOSCAM units: two 8910, one 8909, and one 9821. All of them work less than 50% of the time. And the tech support is poor. Actually, it's the products that are poor. Tech support can usually get the units working, but after 2-3 days one or more go on the blink. Frankly, I've owned two different brands of IP cameras, and I can tell you that the engineers have failed to figure out how to produce and support cameras that work consistently..
