Summary: Camera was find but no longer supported by manufacturer. Does not work with Windows 8.1. No updated drivers available. Helpdesk suggested I buy a Logitech web cam. Lousy after sales product support.
Summary: It works ok, but the image quality sucks. Also mine came with some black mark right in the middle of the lens, so I always put my face off center so I don't have a big blotch on me. Kinda annoying.
Summary: gets the job done but the quality isnt that good and will freeze/skip in low lighting. The price makes it better, but would have rather spent a little more to get something better. Would recommend something better if you can afford to.

Summary: I got great value out from this external webcam. All laptops these days come with built-in webcams (I think). But, one of my laptops is a very inexpensive one (about $350). Some of the components are the cheapest available.
Summary: I have been personally using the Dynex 1.3 MP Webcam for over two years. In my opinion, it is inexpensive. It is extremely easy to use--plug and play--with no software to install. I even have my children using the Webcam. Moreover, I am truly amazed at the picture quality.
