Summary: I have been using this webcam for last 2-3 weeks and I am quite happy with its performance. Its definitely not the *BEST* webcam around, but its serves my purpose, which is occassional video chat with my friends. Friends who saw me on this webcame gave good feedback about the quality of image and refresh rate. One good thing to note about this webcam is its tripod stand with adjustable rear leg.
Summary: I have no complaints about the product, the image is pretty good and instalation was very easy. I only wish the product used USB 2.0 instead of 1.1 but based on my DSL speed it would not make much difference. The major problem with the buy so far is that its been more than 2 months and I haven't received my rebate check yet. I just hate companies that give you a hard time with the rebate, I will wait a little more before I call them to give them a ear full.
Summary: Also own two Logitech Pro 4000's - they were $70@ last year. In comparison - Decent resolution - Cheap price - Method of attachment is poor. Operation under variable light conditions seems worse - if there is a bright spot in the frame it adjusts more for that than the 4000's. Well worth the price after the steep rebate.
Summary: I have been using this webcam for online chatting with my family abroad and found the images crip and clear..It worth the price after [...]. Except that it is little hard to attach the webcam on a laptop for which I have to use some creativity..but otherwise no regrets on quality of images etc..
Summary: I did a lot of research and looked at all kinds of reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. I had no trouble on the install and the webcam sits on my laptop just fine - you just have to figure out the best position. The picture quality is good and not grainy but I do have to have a lamp on behind my laptop for better lighting otherwise the picture is darker than I would like. I must admit that the room it is used in is not that bright. I got a great deal with the [...
Summary: I am very satisfied with my webcam , very good image even at night with soft light, I used to have one before and I had to turn on a desklamp in right in front of me , now I don't need to do it.However the microphone included is not mentioned in the instructions
Summary: This webcam performs fairly well and had no troubles with hook ups or power from the computer. Previous attempts at hooking up a webcam to my computer resulted in power failures and automatic shutdown of the computer, so it was a real plus. The quality is fairly good, colors, brightness, and contrast are a bit to work with and pictures aren't of the greatest quality, but overall with the mic included, a very good buy for the money.
Summary: I'm curious as to how computer savvy some of these people are. Do you have 10+ things running in the background? Have you defragged in the past 6 months? How much disk space do you have available? Like any other product, how do you expect a webcam to work well when you haven't reformatted you PC in 5+ years and have installed/uninstalled 50+ different applications over that time??
Summary: For the $40 I paid after the rebate, this NX Pro offers good picture quality. Even under very dim indoor light, the screen always show a brighter picture than the actual scene. Most of the time, the color/contrast/brightness/etc don't need adjustment to render good natural color. Just set to default. In comparing with my other 3 unknown brand webcams, this NX Pro is quite an interesting contrast.
Summary: I bought this cam when there were no reviews available for this item, so it was kind of a risk that i took. But I was looking for something decent under 50 bucks. Logitech cams < $50 didnt have good reviews, so I went for this one and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The quality is very good, and video recording is also nice. The only minus point about this cam is its stand -- a little unstable.
