Summary: I bought this little webcam about a month or so ago, and the first thing that struck me was that it was almost impossible for me to get the thing to stand up; and attaching it to my laptop screen, like Creative claims you can, forget it.
Summary: I bought the NX Pro because I needed a cheap webcam with good prior reviews - and with the current rebates offered, this exactly matched my needs. As said earlier, the stand is not the best one out there - it somehow manages to hold itself onto my notebook screen.
Summary: This is my first webcam. I selected this over several Logitech models based on other posted customer reviews. I'm glad to report that thus far I am very pleased with the Creative Labs PD1130. It's simple to use, easy to install software, and the picture quality is good.
Summary: Some preliminary comments based on my first few days with the "Creative Labs PD1130 WebCam NX Pro"... * Installation - Straightforward and easy on Win2K Pro. Nicely integrated live shot of the cameras view in the install process, which builds early confidence that the device is working.
Summary: The mounting works well with my LCD monitor (I'd hate to stick something on to it.) However, the picture is very blurry with any kind of movement. My old Intel web cam is far better (both compared running Yahoo Messenger in non-super mode. Maybe I should have spent the extra money for the Logitech!
