Summary: Love this camera! I actually have Model #VF0490, so it's probably the newest version...I was looking for user-friendliness and good quality and that's what I found. Super easy to set up and really clear! I mostly use this for Skype-ing with family, so those 'visits' are even better now!
Summary: The Creative Live Cam installed and was in use inside 5 minutes!! The picture quality is amazing and I really can't get over how easy it is to use!! You won't be sorry about this purchase, I would definitely buy this again and will now be checking out the rest of Creative's productline.
Summary: I loaded the webcam software on my dell laptop and within 10 minutes I was using it with Skype to video-conference with my son. It worked great! The size is also perfect for traveling - I will definately use this when I travel internationally to keep in touch with the kids. Cool product.
Works fine! Don't know why everyone is complaining.

Summary: I'm not sure why everyone is having problems with this thing. I've bough 3 of these and gave them to my parents and wife making international calls to Japan with Skype and MSN. Have worked fine for about an year and setup was easy too.
Pros: Worked fine with all my laptops 1 Averatec, 2 Dells and my Vaio. Much MUCH clearer CCD image over Skype and MSN than a cheap regular CMOS.
Cons: A little big for a laptop web cam. I also agree that it should have a bigger clip.
Pros: I originally bought this cam for my gf so she could chat with me while I use my logitech quickcam 4000 pro. I always thought my logitech was one of the best out there. But once I've seen the picture quality on the creative, I immediately bought another one for myself. It absolutely BLOWS away the...
Pros: I'd say the clip on would be an advantage, if your screen is more than 1/2 inch thick, don't bother. Adjustable focus. Small 2"x2 1/2". Comes with a bag to carry it in. Plug and Play. Great when used with SightSpeed.
Cons: Should come with an add-on clip for those whose screens are bigger than a half inch. Kinda high priced for a webcam.
Summary: Never had a problem with installation. Just load the driver and plug it in. I don't use the software that comes with it, not because I don't like it, just don't need it. Make sure the USB port you use is 2.0 to get the best performance. CCD cams are the way to go. Yes I would by another one.
Pros: Look, I don't understand what the other reviewers are talking about here. I bought one almost a year ago to use on a XP Pro SP2 box with Skype and it is the best cam I have ever bought. Way better than CMOS cams, I have 2 of those old worthless cams. I liked this cam so much, I bought another one...
