Low Light Limits

Summary: Camera has great resolution and the included software works wonderfully. Compatible with Windows 7 x64 versions. Takes great pictures and the clip works exactly as expected. The biggest problem I've encountered is that when in low light conditions, especially with incandescent bulbs, the video shows a haze over the screen that has an unusual stencil pattern in it. I've purchased 2 of these and both had the same problem. Otherwise, a great product.
Summary: Well constructed, good value for the price and simple to install (though, the update requires 15 minutes with high speed internet connection). Software is easy to use; they even offer technical support.
Summary: Awesome bang for your buck! This great web cam is very easy to use and install. It does not have the sharpest image, but for 10 bucks, you cant go wrong. Has a build in mic and you can adjust the focus with a dial in front of the cam. Would definately recommend it for the person on a budget.
Summary: I liked the easy setup. No problems. I used a pair of cheap sunglasses and put them over the lens to view outside. Works great! Good price for a USB cam. The motion detection is not too good, trips off with shadows and changes of light. Overall good cam for the price.
Summary: I trust Creative Lab. We have several of their electronics, from speakers to Mp3 players. Infact, my first computer housed Sound Blaster. I am female electronic junky. I have computer knowledge. I wanted to buy a webcam, the most expensive, top of the line. I was impressed with what I had read on the website, and I bought the Laptop camera, and also bought this one.
Summary: Positives, easy to install, great resolution, good image and good software package. Negatives, frame rate slows down in lower light conditions. Only achieves full frame rate at high light levels.
Summary: Installation was simple except for one flaw in which I had to email Creative technical support for help. The installation went fine and I was able to record video after the install. However, I didn't have any audio to go with the video on playback. I sent an email to Creative Tech Support describing my problem and they responded within 24 hours and provided a weblink to their Knowledge Base that lead me directly to the symptoms of "No Audio".
