Not bad for the price
3 January 2012
Summary: The price was fantastic shipping time was quick the web site to download software was easy enough.Once the software was downloaded the camera has'nt performed as well as expected. The motions are delayed and the picture is fuzzy regardless of lighting and focus.Ok for the price just not the quality I was looking for.
Summary: I bought this camera for skype calls. I like it's shape colour and outline appearance. I also like it's image quality. On the other hand I don't like the fact that it has a motion blur on the video when someone is moving fast. So I think it hasn't fast video.
Summary: The major complaint I have with Creative is that they designed this camera with virtually zero possibility of Linux driver development. The quality and features on this camera are decent, but I'd prefer to have the option of using it under Linux. I guess I'll just keep waiting until someone out there writes a driver for it. And I hope Creative learns from their mistakes. I'm planning on avoiding Creative webcams in the future because of this.
average satisfaction - high price - no linux drivers

Summary: Plus: The camera works well on Windows, good picture quality and high frame rate. Minus: The software package is mediocre. The remote monitoring software is particularly craptacular. Creative: On Linux I can run very sophisticated security software (eg. zoneminder) with: - zone monitoring - multi-camera - motion-detection - web based remote monitoring. B But, there are currently no Linux drivers for this camera!
Summary: I just bought my "Creative Labs Live Ultra Webcam" today, @ Best buy, and when i first installed it, it went fine....then I got my computer shut down on me after i booted up the program/software...then it gave me a message that it couldn't detect the camera! Also, the images seem to be really fuzzy or blurry. The colors are really nice, but that's about it. I can't even tell about the face tracking. I don't see any diffrence. The face tracking is very much "delayed".
