Summary: Now, I've never used any other webcam before so my opinion may be a bit naive. None the less I'll begin by saying the setup and installation is very easy only problem I've had so far is when the power went out when my cam was on and I had to reinstall the software but that can happen with any type...
Summary: It is a reasonably priced web cam. It arrived promptly, installed quickly, and works fine. It comes with good features, but the face tracking doesnt work well when you use many cam (which has its own face tracking). Just turn off this web cams face tracking if you use many cam and it'll be fine.
Summary: This webcam is worth the money. The installation was easy, it sits well on my laptop screen and is stable. Just not satisfied with the colours rendered by this camera, the image tends to become more monochromatic and sepia like sometimes.
Summary: If you are using this as a normal stand-alone desktop camera it is good. If you plan to use the motion capture function in conjunction with Audio you may want to Reconsider.
Pros: Commits the function designed for, and is appropriate for it's price range. The software that it came with is fair. For a portable PC Cam it is alright.
Cons: The software it came with is rather poor. I can cause my machine to crash every time if I use the Motion-Sensor in conjunction with Audio feedback. Summary: I read several reviews here that don't match my experience. Low light level is not an issue, in fact this cam seems overly light sensitive. Picture quality is fine, mine is not blurry at all. The special effects work fine for me, no problems. The halloween mask is pretty funny.
Pros: The picture quality is pretty good for a cheap web camera.
Cons: Lack of offically supported Windows Vista drivers. There appear to be workarounds available, I haven't tried them yet.
Excerpt: == Overview == I brought my Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro last year (2006) around about the Easter period as I had been using the MSN messenger service for quite a while and a lot of my friends and family had them and so I thought that it was about time I got one too.
Excerpt: - Overview - I brought my web cam in a small Arabian country called Qatar as i was visiting family who are working out there and felt a little home sick and wanted to see people back home. So i looked around and eventually found a shop called 'Carrefour's' which is basically the same as Tesco.
Pros: Great quality pictures and video
Cons: Its expensive compared to otther products on the market
