Summary: i have a few of these for vid chat they operate great . the built in mic really works. the manual focus is a plus - the video is clear. with win 7 you dont "need" a driver, but the software from creative is well worth getting
Summary: I bought this camera knowing that is not a high end product, without the features or gadgets that high end cameras provide. I only wanted something that could provide a decent picture for my international calls through Skype to family and friends, and eventually, for some educational applications since the technology to comunicate with students through the web has become available.
Summary: I bought this webcam because the price was right and it wasn't a Logitech (whose webcams I've had bad luck with in the past). In the year I've been using it, I haven't had a single issue. The webcam just works, plain and simple. No screwing around with drivers, no fussy installation CDs. I plugged it into the USB port (with a fairly generous cord length, I might add) and my computer detected it right away.
Summary: I have had this cam for over a year, have used it everyday and have not had one issue with it. I use it as a security camera, it comes with it's own monitoring software, zoom feature, and is very clear. I am currently looking for a second cam and will stick with the Creative name. I have had 2 Logitech brands in the past, but from personal experience, find the Creative to be superior, in installed software, features and price.
Summary: I like this item so far, I bought one for myself and also one for my daughter. I'm hoping that we can hook them up together so I can see and talk with my little granddaughter. It hasn't happened yet so I'll have wait with any comments as to if I love it, like it, or am disappointed.
