Okay but not for me.
29 April 2015
Summary: I wanted to use it as a way to look outside, it will not work in that much light, it works fine on the inside. The software didn't want to load either, I had to download software because the CD that came with it was badly scratched.
Summary: Though in daylight it's a decent little webcam, this thing has TERRIBLE lowlight performance. I'm talking about having to record at 5fps when the C910 next to it is going at its proper 30fps. With all my lights on. Would not recommend unless you are in a very well-lit area.
Summary: I wrote this review for the Logitech C920, but since it compares it head to head with the Creative Live! Socialize HD camera I owned before it, I'm including the review here too: I owned this Creative camera for about 6 months until I was lucky enough to upgrade from Windows to Mac, which this...
Summary: This camera makes recording anything longer than 30 secs a problem. It continuously focuses with no way to adjust or turn off the auto focus feature. The image is NOT HD quality and the sound quality is terrible. I cannot believe I spent this much money on a lemon.
Summary: CAREFUL! I bought this as an easy-to-use webcam for my parents so we could chat overseas. The setup and installation seemed to go well enough, and the quality of the images we got on the receiving end were fine. BUT, the thing stopped working after 3 months! No more video chatting. Just chatting.
Summary: Well, the white balance sucks. I tried to use as an outdoor webcam and all you can see is white. So glad I payed $50.00 for a white picture. Inside, it's a little better on white balance but not by a whole lot. It's focus speed is a little sluggish but not to bad.
Summary: I bought this item and exchanged for another one, but both of them couldn't see anything when I took the webcam toward outside. My old Creative webcam VF0050 can do it. I don't know why. What should I do?
