Not Good At All......
2 February 2013
Summary: Thought this would be a good webcam, not so. Bought it because of price, hooked it up,after tweaking everything, finally got a grainy look not really fit for anything, put it away and bout a microsoft lifecam, now that's a great webcam,so don't waste your money on this one
Summary: Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD AF 720P, 10MP Webcam This camera does not work with the current or recent revisions of Mac OS X. It was sold as Mac compatible, but it is not. It is not supported for Mac. If you complain to tech support, you get told to take the webcam to a Windows computer and use that to download the latest firmware. I did this and it made no difference. The sound works (and is very good quality FWIW) but the vision is unusably dark.
Summary: So, I got this camera in order to keep in touch with my girlfriend while she was in Europe for a six month period. The camera must have been too clear or something, and showed how ugly I really was, because within a week of getting this camera, she dumped me for some European guy. This camera might be good if you're good looking, but if you're just mediocre, you might want to go with lower resolution so your friends and family don't dump or disown you also.
Summary: I have a 2.8GHZ Mac Pro running OS 10.6.8 I have SIIG fire wire and usb PCIe cards in my system. First off, when it was recognized by the Mac OS the image looked terrible. It was very pixelated. Sometimes the mic was unrecognized even though the camera was recognized. I could very well have some kind of system instability but when the camera did work I recorded a video with it and the image quality was not good.
Summary: I didnt realize they dont have mac compatible software, ya i can plug the camera in and it works but i have no controls or any additional features of the camera. Wish i wouldve known that could have gotten the same result for a lot less money. Or i wouldve gladly spent more on a camera with mac compatible software.
Summary: This camera stopped working after three days. I have used Creative lab products in the past and they have been ok to good but not this one, sorry to have to write this but money is tight for a lot of people now and this product wasted mine.
Summary: Despite the claims on the packaging that this camera is compatible with OSX 10.6 it is not. My Mac Mini (and namely Skype and Photobooth) are squishing the 16x9 imagine from this camera to 4x3. There doesn't seem to be a fix out there for this, so I will be exchanging this for another webcam. Bummer.
Makes a brightly lit room look like the deepest cavern.

Summary: This camera is absolute rubbish. With all my lights on, blinding to the naked eye, this camera spits out an image that is dark and low-contrast. It looks like a cave. Even daylight appears muted, with washed out colors with a bad tinge to them. No amount of software adjustment appears to fix this. Of course, I can't install the packaged software or downloading anything useful from Logitech. It claims to be Mac compatible but the software is Windows-only.
