The Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD 1080 is a webcam that features a HD CMOS Image Sensor that supports up to 1280x720 pixels video resolution, with up to 5MP with interpolation still image capture. It records videos at 30fps at 1280x720 pixels resolution and features an integrated mono microphone with noise-cancellation, works with native Windows® drivers for instant Plug and Chat, has a snapshot button, fixed focus, multi-attach base and comes with a 5.5 feet cable. The unit is USB 2.0 (backward compatible with USB 1.1) compatible as wells Mac OS X 10.5 and Linux Kernel 2.6 compatible. The Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD comes with Creative Live! Central 2, Avatars, Visual / Voice Effects, Media Show, Desktop Share, Parental Control, Avatar Creator and muveeNow 2.0.

The Live! Cam Socialize HD 1080 webcam is a unit that supports video blogging, teleconferencing, or simply chatting with friends. It comes with a HD sensor equipped with high sensitivity, capable of capturing widescreen HD resolution videos at 30 frames per second. The webcam comes with software such as Media Show which lets users share pictures and other media content with family and friends, a Desktop Share tool that lets users share the contents on their desktop, a built-in noise-canceling microphone which eliminates background noise and supports 1280x720 widescreen video resolution at up to 30 fps. The webcam also supports password protection that prevents unauthorized use and is compatible with popular instant messaging software such as Skype™, Yahoo!® Messenger and other instant messaging services.
