Live! Cam Notebook Refurbished

Summary: works nice, but works better on xp then vista and forget about 7. in xp it has motion detection but under vista that is gone and creative media does not seem to care. at 1 time they were a great company with great products, now days they pump out discount quality items and offers worse customer service then a fast food restaurant. so I give the web cam it self a 5, the programming a 2 and their customer service a - 4.
Summary: This item is really good if you want a webcam for your laptop it has a little clip that attaches to the laptop.. For the amount I paid for it, it works really well and has really good picture quality..
Summary: once you get over the installation process everything else is pretty simple just plug and play, the picture quality is better compared to my previous webcams. so all in all it is a good product.
Summary: I bought this webcam for an HP netbook and couldn't get it to work in Ubuntu Hardy Heron, had everyone in the office give configuring it a try, wouldn't work past 5 seconds. So I gave it to my niece who has a Toshiba notebook with Vista, works great.
Summary: Gave this to my Girlfriend to christmas so when can talk more often while she is at school. Right off the bat she had problems with it. We use Skype to talk with it and after about 50 seconds the blue light on the camera turns off and her picture freezes. She can see me but i cant see her. The webcam when it is working has a terrible picture and terrible sound quality. I would never suggest this webcam to anyone who actually wants to be able see and hear with it.
Summary: Awesome cam. for this price you CANNOT find a better web cam. Everything works, except it has a separate mic. and the wire for the cam is not very long. And the cam is actually 2 times smaller than shown on image. But very satisfied!
Summary: The webcam itself is fairly good. It wasn't quite plug-n-play under vista, but after i put in the CD it worked fine. The image quality is decent in low light. I like that it comes with a bonus analog microphone in addition to the USB mic built in to the camera. Worth noting that it's built to clip on a laptop (just barely fits on my thinkpad t500) so it won't stand up on it's own, and only has like a 2 foot cord.
Summary: This piece of ****has a nice compact look; but that's where the good stuff ends. No, wait....it also clips on easily to my daughter's notebook...and that's really where the good stuff ends. The picture quality is extremely poor- which is a big disappointment to me because I always swear by C L products. I own the 'bangingest' sound system from C L and it never lets me down.
