Sharper than Logitech Pro 9000
13 January 2012
Summary: Video images appear sharper than my Logitech 9000 Pro and the improvement in sound is much more noticeable. Plugged in a HTPC (core i3 540/4 GB/120 GB SSD, Win 7). Received a real good deal from here; am very pleased.
Summary: The size is a little larger then normal and I admit it was a little glitchy at first but this could be due to my settings.. once it was up and running though it did a great job and better then most as far as images. I would recommend this one!
Summary: Creative Live-Cam in person HD Webcam worked well for me. With this Webcam you get Hardware accelerated HD Video for smooth high quality video chat. The Cam has crystal clear voice transmission with quad microphones and advanced noise canceling. Plus there's Software included for surveillance, movie making and fun video and audio effects. The software included lets you share pictures, slides and videos through the instant messaging window.
Summary: This is a very good web cam. Easy to use, easy to set-up, and easy to control. The only problem with this is what everyone has said so far; it's huge. I think the only way I could be 100% comfortable with this camera is if I had a desktop computer. I don't. Heck, I haven't had a desktop computer since they came with 512 MB of memory! So to test it I used it on my HP laptop and just set the camera beside it.
Summary: I was able to set up this WebCam in about 5-10 minutes on a Windows 7 64-bit system. There were some initial problems with the Creative Live! Central software, but running a quick auto-update and installing the latest version 3 took care of that. Once it was all set up, it was very easy to adjust the settings (brightness, contrast, gamma, color, etc.) and get a very good quality picture.
Summary: Just yesterday I got this webcam from amazon. From the initial look at the product on amazon, it seemed to be a very wide camera. But when I received the package, it was nowhere near my expectations. Wait....don't jump to any conclusions yet. Don't be fooled by the package size of this webcam (Yes. It was not as wide as I expected). The packaging itself was very compact and neat. The webcam was placed inside a nice protected/padded foam box.
Summary: A good quality piece of kit but, given that it's designed for business meetings and groups of people in the field of view is not sufficiently wide-angle so, does the job but disappointed in this respect.

The sound blaster live! 5.1 sound card is certainly the ideal choice for anybody who really appreciates I consider myself a bit of a musician, so not only do I require good sound quality from a soundcard but good recording quality as well. Excerpt: I was in the hunt for a new sound card and picked up this Sound blaster 'Live' by Creative from PC world for just £35. The sound blaster Live is powered by the EMU10K1 digital signal processor which means you get very high sound quality without losing any of the power of your PC which other sound cards and onboard sound chips may take away as they require your PC's processor to power the sound, this ofcourse is great news for gamers who need all the spare power they can...
