Summary: bought this to compensate for the poor built-in webcam on toshiba's 755d laptop. such a waste of money! the purpose is for HD web chats - high quality pictures and video - when i plugged it in the video quality was little different than the built-in webcam - very poor, very disappointed, i am returning this immediately to costco
Horrible, sub-standard picture quality, definitely NOT HD

Summary: I record instructional videos and lectures with my webcam, and felt it was time to upgrade to one that had HD and tech more suitable for 64x software. The Creative Live! inPerson HD cam seemed to have the features I needed, but once it was installed I learned the truth of the other negative reviews. The Live! inPerson cam has an absolutely unacceptable level of picture quality.
It's been said before...good audio, poor video, terrible price

Summary: It's a rare instance when out of hundreds of reviews I give something a 1-star. But I do when its appropriate... INSTALLATION: Step 1: plug into USB Step 2: Install software from disc = this took FOREVER. I only selected 1 of the 3 total packages it wanted to install by default. But even on a beefy laptop there is no "installs in a snap" experience. Plan to brew a pot of coffee before this process finishes.
Summary: By Philip R. Heath "Gadgets, Music, & Books" Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2KKX1CDJDZ0CW They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think that the video much more telling than anything I could write. I am very disappointed in the quality of the video this webcam records, and I cannot recommend it - especially given its rather high cost. Give the Logitech Webcam C310 a try instead.

Summary: Am very disappointed with this camera the picture quality is not on bar with Logitech c910. Much worse is the it keeps crashing my skype. This is quite outrageous since this camera supposed to have build in video encoder and is skype certified while my old Logitech c910 dosen't have it. Thanks to Amazon am returning this camera with big disappointment.
Average Quality Cam... "In Use By Another Application"

Summary: Comes with lots of options & I like that the software is on the device & not my computer... except for the useless bloatware that installs itself and even makes itself a part of your start-up. As for the actual camera, it's decent but not up to par with the price. My biggest gripe is that, most of the time I get a message that reads, "camera is in use by another program" even though it is not. Sometimes this goes away if I restart my computer.
Cons: Does not work at all!! Software disc was corrupt and the website drivers would not download.Sent note to help site -no reply.XP PRO spotted it but it did not work.Would return it to Best Buy but lost receipt.
Terrible picture even when it's 720p. Excellent sound

Summary: I received Creative inPerson HD webcam a few days ago. I bought it for the following reasons: - skype certified - onboard H264 compression (for lower CPU load) - 720p video calling on Skype When I installed it and tried on Skype, I thought it doesn't switch to HD calling, remaining with SD. I installed latest Creative drivers, then latest skype, then latest DirectX. Still - quality is poor. I wrote to Creative support - no reply so far.
