Summary: I use the web cam for Skype chats and those on the other end say the picture is great, as is the sound, whether they're using their desktop, laptop or smart phone. Setup was simple and so I highly recommend the Cam InPerson HD Webcam.
Summary: The description says that camera has a "Wide-angled glass lens" that "delivers . . . more image in the frame". But be advised that this is NOT a wide-angle lens. It captures no more than any other standard webcam on the market. If your purpose is to use it for teleconferences with more than one participant, look elsewhere.
Summary: I had been hoping to use this little WebCam both for Skype and for video blogging. I thought that it would be a really easy way of creating short spoken word videos for my blog, since it would just sit on my monitor and be ready at all times. However, even though I'm used to the mediocre video quality of all of the little handheld camcorders such as the flip video recorder and others of that ilk, this WebCam didn't have high enough quality to where I felt good about...
Summary: Video images appear sharper than my Logitech 9000 Pro and the improvement in sound is much more noticeable. Plugged in a HTPC (core i3 540/4 GB/120 GB SSD, Win 7). Received a real good deal from here; am very pleased.
Summary: bought this to compensate for the poor built-in webcam on toshiba's 755d laptop. such a waste of money! the purpose is for HD web chats - high quality pictures and video - when i plugged it in the video quality was little different than the built-in webcam - very poor, very disappointed, i am returning this immediately to costco
Summary: This webcam is worth every penny. But be warned that you have to have at least a dual core processor to run this. My old P4 couldn't cut it. I have a I-7 processor with 12 gb memory and it works great. The color is very true to the original- far better than other HD cams I have.
Summary: Physically it works fine, it sits on top of the screen, and mounts well. The software for remote access works well, and the video chat works. The quality is not HD, and it has sluggish video. It is comparable to other cameras that cost less than fifty.
Summary: By A. Manning "Gamairidium" I thought that this camera would be the best ever based on all the features and the price, but I was wrong. The installation took more than a few minutes to complete because after the software is installed the system will search for updates and download those updates. It takes forever. Once the installation is finished everything seems to move very quickly IF you have Windows 7. The image is below my expectations.
