Summary: I really don't what to say about this cam. I am sure it is a great cam based off previous reviews. the first one I had problems with it. I tried every number and every weblink trying to find someone live that could walk me through the issue. Numbers I have dialed were doing office hours on the pacific coast, but NEVER could reach anyone. I tried loading the data from the cd, and the info was outdated on the drivers.
Summary: By Michael Yovkovich In today's world, having the best technology is always the best way to go if you can afford it. While the Creative Live! Cam Connect is a solid product with a couple of nice features (the noise canceling microphone, the auto focus lens), you should pass on this product for the same reason 1080P televisions have made 720P televisions nearly extinct.
Summary: By FaceForRadio I don't know how I ever got to be picky about webcam image quality, but apparently, I am. I compared the Creative Live! Cam Connect HD 720p Webcam to a couple of webcams that I own, a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 and a older Logitech, the E2500. The Creative webcam's image quality is better than that of the E2500--let's say 50 percent better--but its image quality is much poorer than the C910's--let's say 75 percent poorer.
Summary: By guitarchick24 The Creative Live! Cam Connect HD 720p Webcam is a nice product for people who just want a basic webcam for Skype and low key use. I am currently using a Logitech for my Mac, and tried the Creative webcam on the PC side (I run Windows in Bootcamp). I found the quality of the Logitech camera to be much higher. Since I use my webcam for video auditions, I need something of a higher caliber. But for an entry level product, it's not bad.
