A chip in the camera sounded like a good idea
8 September 2014
Summary: By Kevin B A chip in the camera sounded like a good idea, but the picture quality is just not there. I don't like the fact that I can't turn off auto exposure. Picture is grainy, and definitley not true hd. I'm also disappointed with the software. The hardware saves on resources, but the software eats them up. And does not play well with Logitech cameras. All in all, I'm considering it a waste of my money.
Summary: By Miky D Disappointed so far. Image quality is not at all impressive compared to other webcams at same price point. But the worst part is there was no H.264 output from the camera on Windows 7 or 8, despite the claim.s on the box and website. Also the clip/hinge is very flimsy making it a challenge to attach this camera to anything but a large flat surface. Save yourself some time and money and buy something else.
Summary: By william m. vance Cause I could never get it to work except in slow motion. If you pointed it at a subject it would take a few seconds to respond. That be the last creative product I will ever purchase.
Summary: I received this camera for use in our DIY Photo Booth at a destination wedding and additionally for use at home by my family for Skype as I'm working overseas. I opened the package and the cables were pulled from the rear of the camera... In consideration of timeline, I had no option for return to await another delivery, so we went with it.
Summary: I bought this to use with Skype and Windows 8. There is a clear conflict between the included Creative software and the MS windows 8 camera app which means that if you click on the camera app within a few moments neither the camera app nor the included software works correctly. It is unusable for what I wanted and was returned within 24 hours hours. Creative Live!
