A chip in the camera sounded like a good idea
8 September 2014
Summary: By Kevin B A chip in the camera sounded like a good idea, but the picture quality is just not there. I don't like the fact that I can't turn off auto exposure. Picture is grainy, and definitley not true hd. I'm also disappointed with the software. The hardware saves on resources, but the software eats them up. And does not play well with Logitech cameras. All in all, I'm considering it a waste of my money.
Summary: By Miky D Disappointed so far. Image quality is not at all impressive compared to other webcams at same price point. But the worst part is there was no H.264 output from the camera on Windows 7 or 8, despite the claim.s on the box and website. Also the clip/hinge is very flimsy making it a challenge to attach this camera to anything but a large flat surface. Save yourself some time and money and buy something else.
Summary: The first time I ordered this, FedX lost it. Amazon customer service was awesome. They replaced it immediately with no hassels. The item arrived quickly and i love it. It was easy to install and easy to use. I love the different features for videos. The videos are crisp and clear and so is the voice recordings. I have a creative sound board in my computer. I installed it myself and it has been 4 years and not one problem. That is why i chose to by this item.
Summary: By Ellis Guy "Perry Ellis Fan" This product appears to be well made and durable. If I were to fault it at all, it would be the base, which is possibly not as easily installed in certain applications, however it's workable. I push my video to a large monitor that is mounted on the wall about 7 feet in front of my desk. This reduces eye strain when working for long periods. My laptop sits on a shelf under my desk, so using its camera isn't an option for me.
