Summary: This works really well. It is in the second building on my church campus and covers the entire building (about 2000 square feet single story) with great signal strength. The POE for power worked fine with the POE switch I had.
Summary: This is the second Cisco AP we've purchased. Works well with our business network. Covers a large area and the first has never gone down in over 18 months. Very easy to program. Using a power injector for the Cat5 works well.
Summary: Did not know when purchasing that this unit will not simply extend your coverage of wifi in your house or office. It actually cuts your bandwidth in half. So if you currently connect at 50mbps, fire this puppy up and you instantly drop to 25mbps.
Summary: I puchased this as a bridge for my LG BluRay player for streaming Netflix movies. Set up was not overly difficult, but after getting it configured, it would never work. I was on the phone with Cisco Customer service four different times for over an hour each time.
Summary: I purchased three of these units and used them for about 6 months. The WAP200 is not a quality product. There is a firmware bug in the unit that produces a ton of broadcast ping's throughout the network. After 6 months, Linksys posted a firmware update to address this problem.
Summary: Needs work. I first installed firmware 1.0.22 and then configured for a simple AP. After a few minutes I noticed that my wireless internet connection was slowing to a stand still from 5megs to 120kb and back to 5megs.
