Summary: This is okay, I wish it mounted better on more of a variety of monitors. (flaw in design I guess) but as far as working goes, it hasn't failed me yet. Good product. Would have received 5 stars if mounting was more versatle.
Good experience, the mic is worth the money. The camera is just a bonus!

Summary: I will start by saying I didn't buy this for the video. The microphone is what you can expect from Blue, just great. I was able to get a great deal on this so no complaints, the video is average. I see no difference in the video from my laptop that comes standard, the mic is worth it though!!
Summary: On the whole, I'm reasonably pleased with my purchase of the Eyeball. I got this to be able to add video and audio comments to papers in my online classes, and for that purpose, it works well. The audio is clear (better than on my Flip video camera) but the video is choppy. Since I don't really think my students care all that much about what I look like when I'm commenting on their papers, that's okay for me, but anyone who wants better video quality might need to invest...
Summary: If you are looking for a professional grade microphone at a cheap consumer price, this is the product for you. The microphone is phenomenal! Great for podcasts, skype, or even professional uses. Now the camera is not the best you can find, but its the best you can find for under $50. I havent been able to capture any HD content with the camera(because I dont have the proper capture software) but I could imagine it would look great.
Great sound, a bit too much for an older eMac to do video

Summary: I used this to set up an eMac to use with Skype. It worked very well for sound and installed easily, but I didn't realize that it needed a computer with more than 1Ghz g4 (I think 1.2 would do) and USB 2.0. However, it still worked very well for sound. Video was not useable on a machine this slow. If you've got a fast tower mac or mini that needs a webcam, go for it. Most iMacs that are fast enough already have an iSight.
Summary: This is a very nice small camera that does what it says. I have another more expensive and this functions equally well. It did not work without the proper drivers but when I contacted the company by email, they responded immediately with a link for the driver. I would do business with this company again.
Summary: When I moved away from my voice coach of many years we began using the telephone for lessons. Better than nothing, but not by much. There was an annoying time lag. Later I purchased another small web-cam which required invasive software and still wasn't much better than the phone. Then my teacher discovered Blue. Now with the same old laptop and the Eyeball we have a much better connection. Singing is fun again. I simply plug and play, using Skype.
