Works Great!

Southern Gardener, Radioshack
24 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I like this product, but wish it also showed temperature history--min. & max. Note to fellow Southerners: It doesn't measure snow, sleet and ice until the frozen mess in the cup thaws out! Outdoor units survived 19 degrees.
  • Pros: Accurate, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Good Value
  • Cons: No Temperature History

Outside sendor to avoid moisture?

weatherbunny, Radioshack
24 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Unit seems to be accurate and was easy to install. The outdoor thermo sensor is to be placed "out of direct sunlight and moisture" so it is fairly difficult to find a good location to keep it dry, close to the receiver, away from building, and still allow it to be ventilated for an accurate readying.
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Reliable
