Not as good as it looks.

Summary: I purchased this watch and i'm not very satisfy with the Wenger Men's 70891 Swiss Raid Commando Green-Accent black Rubber strap watch. First of all the green accent color is not very green, it looks more like a faded green color. The illumination is horrible you can not tell what time it is in full darkness. My expectations were a watch that was going to have a very strong green accent color, therefore looking unique.
Summary: I recieved the watch, and I loved its looks. However, it is rather hard to read the time, especially at night, also, the date is hard to read. The band is on the thick side. The secong hand for the chronograph would not line up exactly at the 12 o'clock position. I tried to calibrate it per instructions but no such luck. Funny it would line up perfectly with all other increments.
Summary: The Wenger Men's 70891 Swiss Raid Commando Chrono Watch is a rugged looking and yet still stylish watch. I bought this watch with one-day shipping because I was so excited about it. I was not disappointed when I opened the box. This watch comes in a durable Wenger box that you should keep so that you can store it in safety during moving or non-use. The silicone band prevents slipping and sliding while wearing.
Summary: i love this watch. i do not like reading or writing extremely long reviews. i was looking for a military style watch that was different from my luminox watch. this watch has a bigger face, therefore much easier to read. it has a good sized wrist band that fits me very well, and i have big wrist. i am a big guy, and watch is comfortable on me. it keeps very accurate time. there are 3 different colors for the numerals on the face., GREEN, WHITE, ORANGE.
Summary: My wife got me this watch for my birthday last August. My only complaint about this watch is that it is somewhat hard to tell what time it is. The time does not pop right out at you when you look at it. You have to look at it for a few seconds to figure out what time it is. This is mainly because every thing is green. The hour and minute hands should be red. If you wake up in the middle of the night, you won't be able to tell what time it is at all.
Summary: I'm extremely satisfied with the Swiss Raid Commando Chrono. It has thus far been an extremely accurate time-piece and the hand movement is very precise (often a short-coming of Chronos in this price range). The watch is very easy to read and gets lots of compliments.
Summary: Great watch, easy to read, day or night. Rubber band helps keep the watch from rotating on wrist. Not too large or flashy, works great for sports and casual use as well. The quality is great, I'm replacing an older model commando that some how got water under the crystal.
Summary: I've had this watch for about a month now. Overall, I really like it. I do agree with the other reviews that the face is a little "Busy" with all the "hands". One has to look twice to figure out what time it is. However, it is a unique watch and I am sure that it will stand up to some abuse due to the construction / materials used in the assembly.
Summary: Practicality: 3 stars, coolness; 5 stars. The face and style can make it hard to read the hands, and the luminosity is minimal. But, it looks really cool, and I'm wearing it all the time! The enclosed manual (pamphlet) states, way in the back, that use in hot water is not recommended. However, the manual is actually referring to a different model watch. I wear mine in the shower, haven't seen any Ill effects yet.
Summary: I agree with another reviewer, the face is a bit busy. It's hard to quickly see the time though I don't have this problem with either of the other 2 chronographs I own. Crown does not screw down so I got to wonder about how waterproof it really is but they warranty it so we'll see. If you have a medium/large wrist then the band that came with it should fit good.
