The lug spears your wrist
24 June 2011
Summary: I have had this watch for 6 months now and on face value its a great watch, but there is one deal breaker with it that totally ruined the watch for me and that is the lug spears your wrist. I thought I was just being soft and wondering if it was just me that was having this issue, so I gave the watch to my brother who is a 6.4 95k fireman and he too complained about it.
Summary: I previously posted that item was not shipped overnight, when it actually was. It was just delayed by the weekend and arrived Monday 4/18. I had seen estimated delivery of 4/19 or 4/20 and assumed it was 2-3 day priority. I got a very nice response from this seller offering to refund the shipping but in all fairness, I can;t allow them to do so. Very good merchant.
Summary: Got this, my first tritium watch, to wear while my vintage ROLEX Submariner gets an overhaul. At 45mm, the dial of the P6600 is large (vs. 40mm for the Submariner), but on my extra large wrist this is not a problem. The P6600 sits high on the wrist and it feels light, but not cheap. NATO strap is comfortable. Dial and hands are easy to read. Bezel is flush with edge of the case and ratchet design makes it almost impossible to move by accident.
Summary: This another great product by Traser; this military watch is big! It looks great in person and I look forward to many years of service with this watch...the steel and resin case is very neat and I especially like the fact it displays 12 hr, 24hr and Zulu or another time zone with the bezel...also, it has the day and date NICE! If you like watches and especially military style watches BUY this watch!
Summary: I wear this watch every day and I get plenty of compliments. It's nice and bright at night (green markers on the hands and green dots on the bezel and at each hour with an orange mark at the 12 o'clock), easy to read, looks great, has date and time (date can be set in German or English), has a rotating bezel (which rotates both ways) and is just a cool and manly looking watch. My one complaint is the band.
Summary: I purchased this watch for my son, who likes BIG watches and is in Army ROTC. I don't wear big watches myself, but this watch spoke to me from the box, and I finally ordered a second one for myself. The water resistance is a big plus, as I work with remotely operated vehicles. The day-date is especially cool: the days of the week can be shown in English or German abbreviations.
