Summary: I've had the watch for a few days now; so I would like to add some comments about my purchase. For starters I am neither a watch snob, nor a watch aficianado. This is the most I have ever spent on a watch; but I must say I feel like I got my money's worth. I really liked the watch upon first seeing it on Amazon. I liked the sporty look at first glance. Went to a couple of "authorized" brick and mortar stores to see it in person.
Summary: Pros: - Stylish Watch, reputable company - Nice Rubber band (you will have to cut it with an precision knife, but there are measured grooves in the rubber that make the cutting easy and precise) - Reasonably priced for a Tissot Automatic Cons: - The luminous hands are not very bright in the dark
Summary: Maybe my expectations were set too low, but this watch has exceeded them in every way. It looks great--elegant, yet casual. For a mechanical watch, it keeps excellent time (about +5 sec/day). The dials are easy to read, and the fluorescent hand/dial markings are effective yet unobtrusive. I would buy it again in a second.
Summary: Saw this watch on the Tissot site first and then found the great deal on amazon. It is every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures online. Absolutely works in both casual and dress clothes. I have a breitling navitimer and will definitely have a hard time deciding which to wear. That says a lot for a watch at this price. Great size also- big but not gaudy.
Summary: I bought this watch couple weeks ago and so far I'm very happy with it. It looks great on the wrist not tom big not to small. It is difficult to read in low light but looks great the arm in jeans or dress clothes.
Summary: I was pleased with the design, case size and movement of this watch when recieving it. But...I expected alot more from this prestigious Swiss watch brand. I found myself being EXTREMELY disapointed in the luminosity used on the hands and hour markers which was practically non existent making the watch unreadable in low light to extremely dark conditions.
