Summary: This is my first Swiss automatic watch. The quality of this watch is superior to Japanese and other automatic watches. The hand winding is very smooth, and the self winding action is also smooth and quiet. The ornamental display back is a real treat. I only have two gripes: 1) The steel band is very lightweight and somewhat sharp around the edges. I had expected a more heavy duty, higher quality band from Tissot. 2) The face is more of a matte black than a jet black.
Summary: This is my first "High End" watch. I decided to go with a Swiss Automatic and I'm very glad that I chose this Tissot. I debated back and forth between this one and the identical watch with the "Power Reserve" indicator which was going for around $900 at the time of this writing. I decided that it wasn't worth the additional $500 to get the model with the indicator and finally chose this one.
Summary: I just received this watch and am extremely pleased with my purchase. The watch is the perfect size, not too big, not too small, and much lighter than I expected. It is very elegant and clean looking and should work for almost all occasions. It is a great value considering you get an Automatic Swiss timepiece and Sapphire Chrystal for under $500 and its Tissot so you know its a reputable brand.
Summary: I bought one of these several years ago; it seemed to have all the right things. PROS: - The bracelet is very comfortable, and is made of solid stainless steel links. - The silver colored hands, roman numerals, and markers on the black face look super-classy - The display back is also really cool to look at - Excellent value, for well under a thousand bucks, you get a swiss ETA movement, sapphire crystal and a really elegant overall design.
Summary: This is a very nice ETA-based time-piece and even more so with a black alligator leather strap ;) The only thing I'm a little annoyed by is the brushed/polished metal contrast on the case; not really a big fan of that in general. Overall the watch is classy, well made, and accurate.
Summary: I purchased this watch yesterday at a local store for full price. This is an amazing watch for the money. The back is amazingly detailed, which is not shown in the pictures here. With the price on here, it makes this watch even better for the money. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice entry-level automatic swiss time piece. You can't find anything better for the money.
Summary: I got mine from another source. This is a superb dress watch - mine has the white face and the guilloche dial really catches the eye. Accuracy - within COSC for me +2 seconds a day. Swiss ETA 2824-2 and a gold (plate)rotor Display caseback is awesome...the problem is that you have to take it off to admire it! The brushed sides are a nice touch that prevents visible scratches. I have the bracelet which is possibly the mist comfortable I have ever worn..
Fabulous looking watch but isn't the primary idea time?

Summary: I must say that I was impressed by the look and the quality of workmanship in this time piece. The service from the supplier was also excellent. I have found over the month that I have had it, that it does run a little fast. Mind you, I have been warned about this with some automatics and the manual does state that the accuracy of the automatics will depend on the wearer.
