Summary: The watch arrived speedily and was a Christmas gift. It's fine, my son loved the dinosaurs on the second hand and the strap. My only complaint is the strap.. it is fiddly and way to long. It could do with velcro to fix it but to allow for growth/different sizes of wrist. The clasp that you have to thread it through is awkward to. Once on, it's a success and seems (one week later) to be doing the job.
Summary: After searching for a watch for my grandson who is obsessed with dinosaurs I found the perfect present - a watch with dinosaurs on it! He is delighted with it and loves the fact thar he can see the dial in the dark using the integrated light. As he is only five he is learning to tell the time easily with the help of the different coloured numbers. Very happy with the purchase.
Summary: This watch was bought as a present for one of our grandchildren who is 5 years old.His mum asked us to get this watch as an aid to him learning to tell the time. It is good in that it simplifies the minutes to the hour and minutes past the hour problem with numbers and colours. It was the biggest watch of its type out of three but it is still a very small watch for the money with very small difficult to read numerals.
Summary: When it arrived this watch looked great and my son was delighted however the watch face was scratched within 24 hours (as other reviewers have commented) which does affect the ease of reading the time. Not also helped by the fact that the numbers are tiny (minutes). Several months later the strap has stretched considerably and lost lots of colour so the pattern is no longer distinguishable and it all looks rather shabby.
Summary: Well, a certain little 5 year old who shall remain nameless left it in his pocket and it was promptly bunged through a 40 degree cotton cycle; it is still keeping perfect time. You can't ask much more than that for a kids' watch! I would definitely get a similar one when his little brother is old enough. The strap is very stretchy but also goes super small which suits my skinny kid very well; and the face and hands are clear and easy to read.
Summary: The watch face is clear for a 4/5 year old to read with past and to on to make it easy to read the time A book or guide to explain how to tell the time would have been useful to go along side the watch and make it easy to learn to tell the time more easily.
Summary: This watch is good for learning to tell the time. It has easy to follow hands and numerals and different colours for past and to the hour. The only negative is the size of the minute numerals eg five past etc. but nothing bigger would have fitted in to the watch face. All in all an inexpensive educational watch.
Summary: The watch was fine but for some reason the order was duplicated and I had to return the second watch. I have heard nothing since and have received no credit for the watch returned. What is happening?
