Summary: By Indoor Biker from Buffalo, NY Pros: Comfortable, Easy to read, Performance, Reliable, Value "I bought this heart rate monitor on Amazon, aprox $40, and am very pleased with it. I have never owned a heart rate monitor before but this works without any problems. Follow the instructions in the manual that comes with it. Determine your maximum heart rate (this can not be done with simple math, that is inaccurate) enter your desired target zone, weight and it works.
Summary: This was my first heart rate monitor and I love it! I have recommended it to many workout buddies who were looking for a reliable product. It's been great and consistent. My friends have loved it just as much me....even those who didn't have luck with other monitors. The chest strap is great because it provides a more accurate reading!
Summary: This is my first HRM and I am very happy with it. I am actually having a lot of fun using it and is helping me to improve my fitness progam..I highly recomend it for any person who wants to improve its fitness level...its price is very good, its easy to use...as the warranty states be carefull no to press any button under water...I Did it and it stop functioning for a week...then it start functiong again.
Summary: I had this on my Wish list since I started working out and wanted a decent heart rate monitor. This works pretty good, easy to use and set up, occasionally has trouble connecting but not enough to lower my rating. I would buy again but don't need one now!
Watch works fine, but monitor stopped after a few months

Summary: When I first received the product it worked right out of the box and is very user friendly. However, after about 2 or 3 months the monitor stopped working. I changed the battery out with no luck. Hopefully it is covered under some type of warranty. I am very dissatisfied with this product.
Summary: I bought one of these monitors when the Omron HR-100C I had been using failed after 18 months. I basically relied on the Timex name and reviews of the produvt on this site. My experience was decidedly inacceptable. The Timex chest strap worked well for 30 days, after which I had to replace the battery. That was repeted two more times before the watch quit receiving data from the strap.
