Summary: Very nice watch for the price. I use it for work and have beat it up accidentally and it's still working properly. The compass thing is just for show, but I dont really care about that. I just use it for the vibrating alarm feature which is great and also the chrono and timer that counts down to a vibration if you want.
Summary: I really love this watch. I got it because I am a Physical education teacher and I wanted to be able to manage my class time better without distracting the students with my watch beeping. The vibration is just strong and long enough that I notice no matter what I am doing. The only thing I would have liked now that I have already made the purchase is to be able to set more alarms. There are three alarms you can set and I have six class periods.
Summary: This watch has by far been my favorite watch so far and I am a die hard Ironman watch fan. I like this watch because not only is it rugged but it is also very easy to read and the features are more than accomodating. I love that the features you do not need can be hidden and that the indiglo light has it's own large dedicated button in the middle of the case. Definitely a good buy!
Summary: I chose this one because of the vibrating alarm. I like all the other things this watch can do. Like the 3 alarms that all sound different. I did a lot of research before getting this watch. I like the 3 times zones and the occasion reminders and Hydration alarm. I used that in Cardiac Rehab and it worked great!!! I highly recommend this watch!!!
Summary: I love it! My roommate sucks, and is always loud and drunk at night, so I sleep with earplugs in. This watch wakes me up via the vibration alarm. Perfect! Also, I love the timer on it. I get my laundry done so much faster, and I even count down 5 minutes for my showers so I don't fall into the infamous "me gusta" stance and become late for work! One feature, while miniscule, but awesome is loop on the band that holds down the excess, unused band.
More info on the vibration alarm - didn't quite meet my needs

Summary: I got this watch solely for its vibration alarm. I don't really wear watches or jewelry. I'm not a morning person. I tend to set a sequence of alarms on my phone to actually get me out of bed in the morning. My girlfriend doesn't appreciate hearing an alarm go off at 6:15, 6:22, and 6:30 (and if I manage to sleep through all of those, at 7:00 as well).
Summary: Two things that I was looking for in this watch: Vibration Alarm and Accuracy. Couldn't be happier with both. I go to casinos fairly often and trying to meet others at a certain time while depending on either a watch's alarm or cell phone's alarm and/or vibration just didn't do it. You just can't hear it over the noise and the phone is usually in a pocket and the vibration is not felt. This watches vibration (and sound) is on the wrist so it works just fine.
Summary: A few weeks ago I got the Timex Expedition with the Vibration Alarm. I bought the watch as a study aid for graduate school. Typically I set the alarm to vibrate so that I can work in a library, the timer to my study period of 45 min (stop at end), the hydration timer to 15 minutes (for my break time), a morning get up alarm, and a reminder alarm to go to bed. Since I have relatives in Europe I set the second time to Amsterdam time.
