Reviews and Problems with Timex Men's Expedition Metal Field Watch T44921PF

Big, easy-to-read day or night
13 January 2012
Summary: The watch is modestly sized at 40mm in diameter, 47mm lug-to-lug and 10mm thick. It suited my skinny wrists quite well. At 57mm across the top of my wrists, the watch sits nicely with no lug overhang. The watch wears a little larger - mostly due to the thin bezel which shows greater dial area. The only issue for me is the excess band length. The case is spec'ed as brushed, but it's not brushed to the point where the finish is matte.
Summary: I really like the watch. Easy to read for my 48 year old eyes. The band seems cheap and I don't think it will last long. My Timex Expeditions usually last years and I NEVER take them off. I imagine this one will be the same but I'll be surprised if the band lasts long.
Summary: The Timex Men's T44921 Expedition Classic Analog Watch is an attractive, inexpensive addition to anyone's collection. This timepiece is simple and practical. Large arabic numbers make this easy to read and a fast glance quickly reveals the current time. The comfortable, well made leather strap is a plus. Nice, stainless finish. Slightly recessed crystal.
Summary: The watch is great--keeps excellent and highly visible time. It looks and feels like a jewel on my wrist. I've had Timex watches before and I think they're a very good buy--$30. plus postage--Can't Beat It!!
Summary: I needed a new work watch so I orderd this timex. I have fuzzy reading vision so this is the perfect watch for me,it has large clear numbers so it is easy to read and it keeps perfect time. It also has an indiglow button, an exelent bonus feature if you ever need to read your watch in the dark! for the price you cant go wrong.
Summary: This watch looks okay, doesn't feel as solid as my more expensive expeditions. I checked the time, reached down to tie my shoe and the watched never worked again. It lasted about 2 months, I wouldn't buy this again.
Summary: Got my watch exactly as it states. Nice leather straps with BIG numbers. However, the indigo lights seems scratchy, i.e. does not light up at times, similar case with my other Timex watch. Wonder if its the same problem. In any case, its a great buy and I would recommend it.
Summary: Had this watch since January 18, 2011. Fast shipping for a standard rate. The leather band is comfortable, sturdy, and sewn together, not glued. Not sure about the other reviews, but this watch has kept accurate time based on my digital clock. The bezel is raised a couple millimeters to protect the face. Excellent contrast with the numbers, minute hands, and second hand. I would agree the dial sticks out too much for some. But for me, is bearable.
