Summary: Very frustrating watch. Timex used to produce a very lightweight resin watch with a thin nylon strap perfect for travel -it never set off airport security. The Indiglo is perfect for night trips by train . They never produced a decent Analog watch with an alarm -especially a vibrating one.(I can't stand LCD watches.) My previous one eventually broke a lug after years of backpacking and travel. It had a plastic bezel but it was fine after plenty of abuse.
Summary: This watch is everything I was looking for. It's small, light weight, attractive, shows the time and date and has an indiglo back light. I think it might look funny on a man unless his wrist is small because it is small but it's perfect for my small wrist.
Summary: Excellent watch for the price. If you're looking for something reliable, affordable, and functional, then this is the way to go. It's got the indiglo light and keeps time perfect, so there are not constant adjustments to keep it on true atomic time. Also, the size of the watch is nice for people with smaller/medium-sized wrists, because the face isn't huge. What's this all boil down to?
Summary: The backlight feature was unexpected but I love this watch. Initially I bought this watch because it was black and I needed something to wear on my wrist. It was cheap so I'm not worried about the abuse this watch goes through.
Summary: I got this watch for my 8 year old boy. And its perfect. Its really hard to find good watches for this age group..esspecially for boys, as many of them are very baby or girly looking. Most boys this age, don't want that..but want a mans watch..but they are too big. So this really is perfect for them. Very easy to read..clear face..and he loves the nite glow light.
Summary: Very happy with this watch, it looks so sleek and feels great to wear. Its tough and perfect to wear when playing sports. Dont think twice about buying. I have the white one too. Timex have done a great job with the Expedition Series.
Summary: I love the indiglo on theses watches, and when my leather strap broke on my last watch, i needed a replacement. I ordered this thinking it was a small watch, but its quite chunky and looks very masculine. I kept it anyway as i was stuck without a watch. The large metal clip hurt my wrist for the first few days, but my skin is used to it now.
Summary: I like the black face on this watch with the white numbers because it's easy to read. It has a light but it is very dim so kind of disappointing. Overall I like this watch but won't order it again. I use it now as a back-up watch because I ordered a better one.
Summary: I'm on my third one of these brilliant little, cheap, watches (one died after much use; this one is a spare in case something happens to my second one - yes, I can't bear to be without it!). Survives the shower, the swimming pool and the sea; the back-light is great for time checks when you wake in the middle of the night, and it fits nicely on my narrow wrist. My teenage daughter has one too. The watch is cheap, functional and reliable.
