watch works, color fades immediately

Summary: This watch functions well, especially under water. However, the pink color starts to fade to an ugly, grimy-looking gray almost immediately (fading admitted to by a customer service rep when I e-mailed about it). If you wanted the pink (as I did), don't buy this Timex. If you don't care about appearance, but function only, this is a pretty good watch; but I recommend getting the mens (the same size!)or get it in gray.
Summary: As an beginner runner I found that the split timer on this watch does exactly what I want it to do, short intervals with unlimited reps. The colour attracts the dirt quite easily but it can be wiped clean with baby wipes easily enough.
Summary: I have had an Ironman watch in the past that I loved. I wanted a change of design suitable for a female wrist. The features are excellent. I find the various alarm clock times (weekends and weekdays etc), the stop watch and the two times invaluable. The indiglo is effective. The strap colour changes remarkably quickly from lovely baby pink to dirty grey. The silver frame around the face has scuffed quite easily.
