Summary: "This is truly an awesome watch all the way around. The functionality that I like and use most is the Occasion Reminder feature. I'm very accustomed to having multifunction alarms helping me out with remembering different activities, but you're usually limited to five (5) alarms at best. This Timex watch essentially allows you to set an alarm for every day of the year for different occasions. You can customize each type, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Summary: I currently have 7 Timex Ironman watches, really like this one, the T5K195, has that original Ironman strength about it, with the bonus of shock protection, I Still have my 1986 original Ironman, the 484-A that was given to me as a gift at Christmas from my father in 1986, and arrived today I have a leftover still brand new 484-A that I tracked down and bought from an individual, mine had been sitting for over 15 years with a dead battery lost in the bottom of my watch...
Summary: I just purchased this watch and it reminded me of my first ironman. I love it..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeBest wathes ever made.
Summary: I purchased this watch 6 months ago. Over that time of regular use with intermittent work and play, the plastic watch screws broke off. Eventually leading too the black rubber and start/split button to be torn off while tubbing on a lake. Which, allowed water to leak in, and destroy the watch over a period of two days. Worked fine while i had it, hence the two stars, but how quickly it was ruined deserves a one star. Not impressed.
Summary: I give this watch the best of scores. I owned its predecessor when I was 16, and it lasted me pretty much 10 years. I bought this watch last year for Christmas, and while I can't comment on the longevity of the watch, I can say that it's an improvement to the original in every way. The corner plastic bolts have fallen out, but that is a minor detail that I really don't care about too much - because on all other accounts, this is a fantastic watch.
Summary: I bought this watch over a year ago looking for the most durable one for the price and I think I found it. I have taken it through mud runs, Spartan Races, military training camps, hunting, camping, running, swimming and more and it is still ticking and accurate. My only problem was that the screws you see on the four corners of the watch slowly come out one by one. Once they all fall out the black lenses casing falls out.
Summary: Great watch! Does everything a digital watch should do with the classic look. Love wearing it when Im working out or causally dressed. "Within its first year, Timex Ironman became the best-selling watch in the United States, and the world's largest selling sport watch for the next decade.
Summary: I am on my 4th Ironman watch, the style and functionality are great but the watch band only lasts about 2 or 3 years. I have called Timex in the past and there is no way to replace the watch band. On my current ironman, the plastic / rubber loop that holds the band in place once its on your wrist broke rendering the watch useless. Very frustrating that a $0.25 part could make the watch worthless. There needs to be a service option or replacement option for the band.
Summary: I am thrilled to see the return of the Classic IRONMAN watch and in so many different colors! I recently purchased on in a Shiny Black finish...I have never seen this color before on an Ironman watch...but it's a winner!! Had lots of compliments on this watch already. I have seen a shiny purple and shiny light blue color also. Have also seen a regular Black (non shiny) version and I bought a gun metal grey with orange accent one....Orange is my fave color!
