Summary: I purchased this watch because of the multiple alarm capability. The price was way cheaper than anything else I could find with that feature AND it was a Timex! I owned them all the time in my youth and they always were fantastic quality. Rugged, kept perfect time, never malfunctioned.... Well, having owned it less than 6 months I can state that Timex ain't what it used to be.
Summary: Watch face is large but the display uses the space and is easy to read at a glance. The vibration alarm is a great feature and is easy to use. The band is also a standard size and can be replace if needed. Would buy again.
Summary: Finally, an accurate watch that does not disturb others when the alarm goes off. Also, I no longer miss the alarm in loud environments. It has just enough timers for me. I use the hydration as a 2nd count down timer. 3 daily alarms are enough for me. I have no need for the occasion feature. (I have an iPhone). Also, numbers etc. are large enough so I can easily read without glasses. Compass bezel serves only a cosmetic function but I soon did not notice it.
Summary: I bought this watch mainly for its alarm capabilities. I have a dog who is diabetic and I try to give him his two shots at consistent times. It is quite easy to lose track of time so I wanted a watch where you could have more than one alarm set to go off each day. This watch works perfectly for that. I chose the vibrate and sound mode which works great. At the appropriate time the watch starts to vibrate first, and if you don't turn it off, it then sounds the alarm.
Summary: This is nice vibration watch. You can do just vibration mode or beep mode or combo mode. In combo mode it will first vibrate 10 seconds and then it will be followed by beeping for 10 seconds. The beeps are very loud and fast. Countdown repeat timers on both hydro and Timer, so 2 types of repeat timers, each with there own distinct sound, the vibrate is the same. It would have been cool if the vibrations were different.
Summary: This watch was a gift for my son, it woke him up while sleeping with earplugs in,so I guess it's doing its job! I noticed while shopping for it, there were many different part numbers for the same watch from different places. I am fairly sure this is due to the wide variation of bands that come with the watch. But it certainly is a great watch for the price!
Summary: Timex Men's T498549J Rugged Digital Vibration Alarm Watch Pros: 1. Flexible countdown timer up to 23h: 59m (can be set to stop or repeat at the end) 2. Flexibility of alarm modes (vibration, beep, and combo) 3. 99 laps. (Great for running.) 4. Hydration timer for repeated reminder up to 60min. 5. Normal lugs accept 22mm milspec nylon straps. 6. Large display and numbers 7. Clear EL light 8. No warning alarm before the target time during countdown timer. Cons: 1.
Summary: I was looking for a simple countdown timer to track the time for my e-cig breaks. This watch has a 10 minute countdown timer with a one push button start. But the functions did not stop there as the watch has three different alarms and the ability to vibrate instead of just audio. The fact that the numbers light up instead of the background makes this watch easy to read at night with minimal lighting and power requirements.
Summary: Not only is this a stylish watch, but the features are great! Vibration alarm very noticeable, but not to the point of being annoying. Dial very easy to read and back light works with every button. Would suggest ordering the cloth strap, I personally did not like the rubber one - it has a catch on the end of the strap to keep it from coming undone (which usually isn't a problem). Because of this "catch", it makes it hard to remove the watch when you want too.
