Summary: Had the watch for a few weeks and it started showing condensation in the crystal. It then started to run slow, but only periodically. I would be okay for a few days and then all of a sudden, it was 30-45 mins slow. Finally it stopped altogether after approx. 4 weeks. I have NEVER had any trouble with a timex product before, so I had not kept the packaging or else I would try to return it..comfortable, Value, reputaionQualityNormally great dependability, value.
Summary: I have had this watch for about three years with daily wear. Very acurate with time and easy to set. I work as a nurse and also play drums and sports with this watch on with no problems. Battery has finally died. As I tried to replace the battery, could not get the back back on to the watch, it ended up breaking the watch. I see in the reviews that this is a common problem.
Summary: I have had this watch for over a year now, and it is my all time favorite watch. I calibrate the time with the atomic clock in Colorado by synchronizing it with the time on my GPS. It keeps the time very well( +/- 1 second per month). The minute increment markers are clearly visible on the dial. Hours are shown precisely with 12 hours in black and 24 hours in red. Good for listening to shortwave when converting between local time and UTC.
Summary: I have been a Timex purchaser all of my life even when I could buy the expensive watches. They keep on working year after year..comfortable, reliable, Rugged, stylish, ValueBest watch value on the market.
Summary: I reviewed this watch previously and said I would not recommend it. I have since changed my mind. It still gets a 3-star rating in my estimation, but it's been a very solid watch for me for the last 2 1/2 years. I have several watches and rotate the wearing of each. This one gets worn a couple of times a week on average. The expansion band took some getting used to. It's not a high quality band like some I have had in the past.
Summary: Very reliable, lasts forever, durable even when working outside BUT Can't set Day of week easily.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeCan't find how to set day of week
Summary: I very much like my watch but the watch band is too tight for my wrist .The instructions do not provide any info to increase the size or reduce the tension.easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylishUncomfortable
Summary: I love this watch. Clean, easy to read, reliable. Never had one fail. Am about to buy my third...the last one secumbed to an unfortuate accident. Obviously, I'm on my way to find another just like it..Battery life, easy to read, reliable, Value, Worn all the timegood value, love the indiglo. very reliable.
Summary: Only when all 3 of my Timex Indiglo watches finally broke and could not be repaired (after 12+ years of use) did I fully realize how much I'd come to depend on the light-up-in-the-dark feature. I developed an allergy to leather straps about a decade ago and so the metal expansion band is perfect for me, although it can be a little chilly on cold days. The day and date function is helpful when I travel.
Summary: This watch needs some redesign. While I love the way it looks and etc, changing the battery is next to impossible. I, nor three jewlers were able to get the cover back on the watch after replacing the battery. Since this is the second time this has happened with the same model, my guess is that it is a design flaw. Too bad, as I really like the watch.
