Summary: I actually intended to buy this watch for my wife for Valentines Day but when it arrived it seemed a bit too big for her. Rather than return it I decided to wear it myself as I love the retro styling. I will definitely be buying a ladies version for her and maybe one for my grandma who has impared vision. I have seen a mechanical version of this watch from 1972 in an online auction so that tells me a lot about Timex's durability.
Pros: Rugged, stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable, Value
Summary: I used to like the women's easy read indiglow watch...but....it has become VERY unreliable...and stops running whenever it feels like it. It was good for about 6 months. Thought it was the battery so I had it replaced but within 2 months it was doing it again. Bought ANOTHER battery...(which by the way...are a devil to replace..even by trained store personnel.)and another band. So, that's 2 batteries & 1 band all within a years time.
Summary: I bought this watch as a gift for my father-in-law who needed a replacement watch that was easy to read and had a classy look to it. Overall it looks great and the dial is a nice large size, but there seems to be some quality issues with it. First it was hard to get the watch to start working after setting the time, second, the second hand does not line up with any of the hash marks on the dial, and the third flaw as I see it, is a spot on the lower dial that does not...
