Summary: I have owned several Timex Ironmans and my last one finally gave up the ghost. The new ones are a little too "girly" for me and I wanted a watch with a velcro strap for my teeny (6") wrist. I saw the Expedition and thought it would make a good replacement. I am very pleased with the overall appearance of the watch, as well as the Indiglo display and how easy it was to set up. I look forward to beating this watch up as I have its predecessors.
Pros: Rugged, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, Value, reliable
Excerpt: The indigo night light is a wonderful bonus because I normally run at nights after work. I can check on my watch easily even in the dark. I could not say for certain the quality of the battery for I had it for only six months to date. But I can say that so far there are no signs of it giving up anytime soon. I’ve been practically wearing this everyday since I got it and it still looks spanking new. Price is just $45. That’s so affordable already.
Summary: I got this watch about a year ago and it has held up to everything I have hit it with. I wear it almost everyday and use it for running, hiking and when I swim. The velcro on the band is starting to get weak but I guess that is to be expected. For the price you can not beat this watch.
Pros: comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the time
Summary: First off, I bought this watch my first day of basic training for the Army 8 years ago. It lasted though all that. Came with me to Afghanistan, no problem. When I got back, I put a lot of things in storage and simply forgot about the watch. Bout many since then, but none compared. Fast forward 6 years. While getting ready for a deployment to Iraq, I found it. Battery still good. Still holding perfect time. Brought it with me out here. Got blown up and stomped on.
Pros: Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the time
Summary: I have owned two of these watches and I can definitely say they are the best I have ever owned. They are water proof, accurate and dependable. I would definitely reccommend this watch to anyone who wants a tough and rugged watch.
Pros: Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the time, excellent battery life
Summary: Very Good watch. But I need to find a replacement watchband and cannot. Has anyone found one that fits? It's really too bad Timex doesn't support this product with replacement bands. Someone should mention this at a little higher level on the management ladder than the website customer response team....?
Pros: Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Worn all the time
