Summary: The Stuhrling 142A.EU.PK6 pocket watch is a disappointment. Loses an incredible 10 mins per day. What I thought was a bargain is now trash. On closer inspection of the quartz mechanism I not surprised that it loses time, not exactly precision workmanship here.
Summary: I bought this as I am a collector and user of Pocket watches. While this photo looks great, it is very hard to read the day and date on this watch once you wear it. The back stand is not aligned cleanly in the back resulting in a not flush fitting.
Summary: As another reviewer has commented, Stuhrling must have quality control problems. They also must heave deaf ears when it comes honoring their guarantee responsibilities. The first one of these I received was uselessly slow and not what I'd expect for a digital watch.
Summary: Out of the box I thought I got a keeper and was proud to carry it but after only a few days things started to happen that caused me some concern. First, I didn't like the chain because I thought it was cheaply made and the end result it catches on the lip of my watch pocket.
Summary: I was really impressed with my first purchase of Stuhrling Original Men's 142A.EU.PK6 Lifestyle Collection Monarch Moon Quartz Pocket Watch. I got the one with yellowish face. I bought it in September 2010. It kept perfect time and for its price, a steal!
Summary: I'm a big fan of pocket watches. I've had one all my life. My most recent purchase was a Tommy Bahama watch which died after 12 months. After reading all kinds of reviews, I decided the best value in the marketplace is this Stuhrling. This is an awesome watch. What a beautiful design!
Summary: This watch has a nice weighty feel to it and I am very pleased with the moon phase function, it matches the phases of the moon very accurately. The day and the date are also nifty functions to have.
